25 Your financial institution prepares your investor profile on the basis of a questionnaire. This is not a test or an exam, but a way to get to know you better and to gain a thorough insight about your knowledge, expe- rience, investment objectives, financial situation and your risk tolerance. In this way, your financial institution can ensure that you get the invest- ment product or advice that suits you best. The questionnaires are not standardized. Each financial institution may use its proper questionnaire and tailor it to its product range, so as to avoid irrelevant questions.
